Black Coffee

I make love with
the night, while
I ride through
the wind.

I own some
moments with
the stars, even
the infinite sky
but still-
my hands
remain
empty.

I touched
the lips of
a hell ablaze-
full of smitten
souls; through affront
seduction so
enticingly
sweet.

Should I
hide behind
the power of
a kiss made
to seal the
final curse; a gift
from the mallet’s
false freedom.

After which,
I run towards
the warmth and
comfort of laced,
black coffee
now
gone
cold.

And, while I ride
through the wind-
the night and I
make love.

Stilleto’s Secret

Framed into
perfection
indeed, my secret
lover, and I.

Unmindful of
a trap
blindly adored
by hungry eyes.
A mocking illusion
to capture
foolish glances
unwittingly thrown.

And, the constant
echoes of
freedom
whispering
secretly.
Envied,
above and beyond
the comfort of lucid dreams.

I heard,
my secret lover
calling after
my soul.

I, and my
Secret lover own
moments born from
glorious feasts
adorned with
symphony’s breath.
discreetly
pursued by obsession.

Yet still, I
never learn
how to dance with
My secret lover.

Silhouette

I came
to you for
a dance,
but-

Your eyes held
me, not long
before you
breathed
fire-
so intense, that
consumed me-
whole.

Yes, you caught
me,
naked-
exposed like
a ghost, hiding
behind clouds of
illuminated
fallacies.

Sweet torments,
designed to hamper
the light of
truth
faded,
when reality came-
disguised as
silhouette.

You Sent Me

You sent
Me
flowers, and
More.

Rustles of
sheer softness,
like a touch of
velvet’s kiss
yet, such softness
savagely cut
the veins and buds of
my soul.

Drippings of
silken scents
from the wild -
fragrances
desired
by hungry senses
yet, too far
to touch.

I’ve known
allure and grace
intimately, like
mistflowers, confined
within fragile circles-
a fortress; the grave of
infinity, and
my efflorescence.

Indeed, you’ve sent
flowers, and
more
to me.

Charmed

I fell when
I collided with
your shadow.

Beyond the power of
sight, is a force
I met – cloaked with
unseen
clarity,
that exists on
rhythms that moves
in parallel beats.

Instant gazes trapped
unknowingly, like sparks of
a kiss from
hurried glances
unleashed to
linger, like
passion that burns, charmed
by the unspoken.

I pleaded for
a glimse of the
future, framed like
an innocent
vision
destined
to capture the
shadow of your soul.

Yes, I collided with
your shadow, and
I fell.

Running

You and I met
on a lonesome
avenue-
running.

Ardently, I
joined the chase
offered by a
faceless
future-
to catch the
fleeting moment,
though I knew not why.

Along with other souls,
you kept on running
towards the
depths of
the present-
but you were blind,
consumed by
rhinestone’s light.

You and I kept on
running with nothing,
but empty
hands.
Alive, in a
nonexistent world-
unknown strangers
even to our own souls.

And now I met
you again, but
I run-
no more.

Tainted Senses

Stillness roars
to fill the barren
spaces, home of
the blind, unaware
souls where-
the signs
shamelessly glare
yet, remain unseen.

You’ve said
that you were
searching, turning
every cornerstone yet-
you failed to look at
these open arms waiting
for that longing glance
to come.

For nothing remained,
but tainted senses-
too tired to look beyond
the depths of enchanting
thoughts hidden-
where the unveiled future
waits for the sign of awakening.

Gentle Prints

Your fingertips-
though numb and tired
I’ve felt, slowly
tracing each
long,
forgotten
steps, the remains of
bygone gentle prints.

You traded
one breath for
a kiss, like
a gift-
stolen
from dusty
shelves where
lonely shadows reign.

And these shadows-
you’ve always wished
to breathe
with fire
though nothing,
but silhouettes exist-
a piece of you, but
not a reality.

Yet, smiles won’t cease
to light the fire inside
the empty
chambers
left open-
as the shadow’s heartbeats
escaped to fade as silence
finally reigns.

Backdrop

Dewdrops came
to heal, and
to wash away the
dust and specks
gathered like memories
left from
a dreary
summertime.

Your heart’s sigh, I heard
through the breeze, though
your voice
remained
mute.
Autumn came, and
I’ve seen reality
unveiled.

The rain took away
the shadows left,
like clouts of
cobwebs
hanging-
a backdrop inside
the chambers of
your mind.

Greatest Heights

Tonight,
like the other
nights, I came-

In bended knees, I
laid a wreath, an
offered surrender to
the power of
your eyes-
the depths
where my soul, and
my own reality resides.

You took me away
far and beyond
the greatest
heights
unknown,
even to the
sharpest of minds-
where my desire lies.

I’ll keep abreast to
match each
leading
steps,
though what I see ahead
are visions blurred-
the promised grandeur is,
but a passing silhouette.

  3. Hi Euane, thank you :-) . Publish in print, you mean… I have to think about that though. I would probably allow for any poem of mine to be included in any poetry collection, if somebody would find them interesting enough, lol! I consider each and every poem I write to be a part of me.. I would love to share these in a proper way, without a tag price- they’re simply priceless for me, :-)
