So it seems-
that I remain to be blind;
oblivious with the whisperings-
stranger’s sounds with wishes to fill
the open spaces where
freedom reigns.

My heart, indeed
remains to be longing- not
for a chain or a golden cage, but
for spaces that wisdom fills-
lost paradise,
most desired place.

That my soul- may
live, and not wilt from the
glaring lights of a rhinestone’s world-
where sweet words are some mocking
snares, and scrutiny is-
a hidden praise.
