This isn’t a new piece- just a
“recycled” old poem of mine…

Recently, I
took a step wider-
wiser.

Though I can’t see
the future- I sent my
silent voice to seek, and
to plead for a gift of
time with you.

You must have heard
me, and you came
home- my soul at
last had finally
known
me.

  1. Hey Leofina Jane, your poems are loaded and really powerful. How can you make these stuff look really simple enough but it touches the reader’s soul, guess that’s a trade secret, he he. I love your blog, am a fan now.

  2. Some poetry is written in forms, each form having its own rules. Poem

With regards to your question… I guess it’s just my way of making my poems sory of “accessible” to everybody- Art for me is a means, not an end in itself. I’d rather reach out to others through it than make it more complicated, lol! Hey, thanks a lot, you’re too kind. :-)

  5. Poem, totally agree with you there- the beauty of this written art, that is, :-) .

  6. Hey there, Euane. glad you liked it, cheers! :-)

  8. Hi JD, thank you so much for your warm feedback, nice to have you here, ;-)

  9. i wonder what loons can see
    toe-deep on cool, twilight sea
might be what they left behind
    as darkness sieze their time
    there could be tomorrow beyond
    those mountain tops, i recon

  10. It must be
    home- extended
    beyond time and
    the present.
    :-)
