Borrowed lights to
illuminate collages- exposed
in arrays of sights that taunts
the unassuming ways of
idle tides.

Sudden flares abruptly
shine- fueled, not by contrite
heart, but cast by
empty lamps.

Believe that
sometimes- the strong winds
become the captain to stir
your shadow, and your
soul’s anchor would
not be your own.

  1. Beautiful – breathing on my soul with your comforting whispers – it curls at the edges – and sighs.
    Thank you for being.

  2. Hi Leofina Jane, you have extraordinary talent in poetry writing.
You’re right, just like prisms we all are just part of a whole wherein all are interdependent and relative. Are we the leader or the follower? We maybe for now, but nothing’s constant. We all will be either of both one time or another.

Your poems are that from a highly intellectual mind. Keep dripping poetess.

Almostpoet, thank you so much, ;-) exactly- there are demarcation lines that clarifies the definitive value of every single thing. Thus, comprehension of such is essential to understanding- relative, all that we are could have been created just for that. Not to complete each other but to spice up one’s existence- or otherwise. This affair of the world revolves around this plot, or so it seems… :-)

Glad to have you here, and thank you so much for the kind words, :-)Jane
