Take me
away- to those
peaks and slopes
where the rushing sounds of
hurried footsteps linger
like infinity- running
around in
circles.
I long to feel
the sudden rush when
brushes of glances would stir
the semblance of
tranquility-
Before the
unassuming grace
will be awakened without
the veil of sanity; and wrapped
within the comfort of a
newfound freedom.
Lead on-
while the first tune
embraces the unsure steps,
and-
I shall be
waiting for the
heaven’s nod- and for
the promised light of certainty
to shine; that I may rise
above the shadows- and
away from the harsh
light of reality;
Then I,
would be free
at last- from the
comfort of a caged
existence.
